To keep adventurers in touch and on track, the Montana 700i handheld combines the flexibility of on- or off-road navigation with global messaging and interactive SOS via inReach satellite technology.
With inReach you’re never far from help, with reliable text messaging, interactive SOS, and weather information using the Iridium Satellite network, using an active satellite subscription. Navigation is easy and clear on the large colour display in urban and wild environments thanks to Garmin’s City Navigator, pre-loaded Topoactive European mapping, direct-to-device Birdseye Satellite Imagery and active weather updates using the Garmin Connect phone app.
Location data is accurate and consistent thanks to Multi-GNSS support and Garmin’s ABC (Altimeter, Barometer, and 3-axis Compass) Sensor array, which can also be shared with those at home using MapShare, and Expedition mode uses an ultra-low GPS reference to keep the battery life going for a week or more between charges.
